What To Avoid In Yin House Feng Shui
BaziChic Feng Shui & Chinese Astrology|March 2018

From a Feng Shui aspect, a ground burial (Yin House) has a direct impact on the descendants of the deceased. To ensure harmony and good tidings for the descendants, the following actions should be avoided.

What To Avoid In Yin House Feng Shui

a) Avoid fencing up the tomb

Families who prefer privacy may decide to erect a wall or fence around the tomb. Do not do so unless the tomb is located in a big space with acres of land. An enclosed tomb will eventually lead to legal entanglements and prison.

b) Avoid planting flowering plants on top of the burial ground.

Some creative families may want to decorate the tomb with flowers. Usually cut flowers are placed in vases to honour the ancestors. Some people go a step further by planting flowers right on top of the burial ground.

This can cause the descendants to have unstable relationships plagued with scandals and peach blossom entanglements.

c) Avoid planting a big tree right on top or near the burial ground

Planting a big tree right on top of the burial ground is also a “No-No.”. The roots of the tree can destroy the coffin and the tomb stone and wrap themselves around the remains. Sha Qi arises when the roots of a sturdy tree penetrates into the coffin. As a result, family members may suffer health problems, especially those related to the heart.

Revisiting Pavilion KL Mall

It has been four years since I last wrote about Pavilion KL (refer to page 45, March 2014 Issue), one of the main malls in Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang area. After dropping by ABC Café at Pavilion KL, my interest in the Feng Shui of this mall was piqued again. The sky bridge linking Jalan Raja Chulan to the mall is curved as it approaches the mall preventing Sha Qi from building up, which is what happens with a straight bridge.

Face Reading: What Do Your Eyebrows Say About You?

Eyebrows have long been symbols of beauty. Since the Tang Dynasty, women have been grooming their eyebrows. During that era, women shaped their eyebrows to be sharp, pointed and dark. This is often referred to as “dot eyebrow.” Since then the obsession with beautiful brows have spawned new techniques from threading, plucking, tattooing and painting to eyebrow transplants and microblading. Beautiful well-defined eyebrows make the other features on your face stand out. It makes your eyes shine and tell a story without words.
