We are now into our third Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) of the current era, but work-from-home and home-based learning remain the norm, which is why I figured it was the perfect time to try out the OBSBOT Tiny webcam.

This may come as a surprise but personally, I have never owned a webcam before! I have always been stuck using my laptop’s front camera, which at 720p is honestly not the best quality, and I’ve faced troubles such as pixelated streaming, video lag, and overall bad picture quality. This made me even more excited to try out the OBSBOT Tiny, which is a Full-HD powered webcam with a powered gimbal.

The OBSBOT Tiny was created for this new era of the video communication explosion. For me, I have regular meetings with my friends for our school project, and the OBSBOT Tiny opened the door to a new video communication experience, making my videos crystal clear and in higher resolution, and no lag, and even with multiple people on stream, there was no problem.

AI Tracking with Auto-Frame is a cool function that I really enjoyed playing with! The OBSBOT Tiny uses deep learning neural networks to achieve AI tracking with auto-frame, so it always keeps its camera module stable, smoothly tracking you to automatically keep you framed front and centre in all your streams and videos. This comes hand-in-hand with gesture control, which is a first of a kind feature for an AI webcam.
