It was on a holiday in Jamaica in 2005 that Princess Beatrice fell in love for the first time. The man-of-the-hour was Paolo Liuzzo, then 23, a New York university student the princess had met through mutual society friends. But the handsome young man was definitely on the wrong side of the tracks.
It was on that trip that Liuzzo claimed Sarah Ferguson gave the go-ahead for Beatrice and Eugenie, then 15, to attend parties with him where “guests smoked cannabis and drank a tea made of magic mushrooms”.
