This grandma and her toyboy lover have defied the haters by getting engaged – despite a 37-year age gap.

Cheryl McGregor, 61, and her now-fiancé, Quran McCain, 24, plan to tie the knot after developing feelings for one another last year.

Despite Quran being younger than one of Cheryl's own kids, the couple say their love life is fantastic and they have wonderful chemistry.

Cheryl, a grandma of 17, admits she occasionally gets upset by hateful comments posted on social media, where she proudly shares video snippets of their life together.

The brave couple even set up an account with Only Fans, a website where subscribers pay to watch the pair perform adult content.

“Even though it is an age gap, we never think of it because Cheryl has a very young spirit, soul and heart," Quran tells New Idea. “I think the biggest misconception is that I'm using her or waiting to be put in the will."

But Cheryl knows that isn't true and says that their relationship is different to others she's been in.

“It's amazing," she says. "He's very compassionate to me and I think it's because he's a younger man. I couldn't have that with anybody else, he's very emotional and that's something I've never dealt with – [others] were all angry and he's emotional in a good way because he shows me he really cares."

Quran also posts details about their relationship on his Tik Tok account, where he has a following of over 826,000 people from across the world and nearly 13 million likes.
