At a time when it appeared the royal foursome were patching up their reportedly rocky relationships, it seems the truce between the Sussexes and the Cambridges is over.

In Meghan’s guest edit of British Vogue, her and Prince Harry’s comments, which seemingly take aim at Prince William and wife Kate, suggest a continuing royal feud. Now a palace insider exclusively tells New Idea that Meghan knew what she was doing.

“Meghan made it very clear that she was on a mission to make her mark and ensure that she was the duchess who everyone looked up to and admired, even if it means ruffling some more feathers.”

Just recently, Kate and Meghan seemed to put on a united front by attending Wimbledon together. But now, Meghan’s decision to turn down the chance to appear on the magazine’s front cover for fear of seeming “boastful” is being taken by many royal watchers as a thinly veiled dig at Kate – who appeared on the cover in 2016.
