A permanent vacation they say. And for all good reason! It is as much of a haven you can conjure for yourself in your lifetime than one can imagine. The solitude combined with a perpetual sense of calmness makes the entire experience so deliciously dream worthy. There is no denying that the beach house is an ultimate getaway. A home in the hills or a lodge in the woods comes close, however, the perks of owning a home by the beach has its own charms. The beautiful views and cool breeze are just a couple of the awesome things about beach front living that makes it all worthwhile. Couple that with the awesome weather and ability to dunk yourself into the ocean every chance you get, ensures you have a clear winner.

Owning a property on or near the beach has become extremely challenging over the last couple of years owing to the increased demands and the numerous laws that prevent you from building too close to the shore. However, should the opportunity arise, it’s always best to be prepared right? So, here are a few pointers on making sure you have the right leads. In the first bit of this article, I am going to be talking about some of the generic architectural considerations one has to take while planning their homes. This applies to those who have scouted for a piece of land and are planning on building a home from scratch. In the second bit, I am going to be elaborating on a few pointers to spruce up an existing space with interior hacks that will be filled with a beach side vibe. This applies to those who have picked up an existing home or have invested in a builder community by the beach. This can also apply to those who have bought into an apartment or villa close to the shore but still want that tropical vibe every time they visit it.
