The season is known for its high humidity levels, hot days alternating with cool rainy nights, and sultry air and all of this can wreak havoc on the skin. It is, therefore, always a good idea to do a skincare regimen makeover with every climate change, so that you can look good all year round.
Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, women are indoors most of the time now, which means that though they may not need as many cosmetics as they would on other days, they do need to look after their skin in order to keep it in optimal condition.
Here is a compilation of some of the best beauty and skincare trends to keep in mind this monsoon, so that you can enjoy the season to the fullest…
Go matte
The monsoon usually brings many periods of extreme humidity that can play havoc with your skin. If you want to upgrade your beauty routine, put away all the rich creams and heavy foundations for the winter months. Choose gel-based products instead, that are light and will allow the skin to breathe.
Keep makeup as matte as possible also. Use lip stain instead of heavy lipstick but if these are too light for you, you could go for matte lip colours which will stay on for hours and not melt in the heat. But, since most of us are working from home, you can skip lipstick altogether and go for a light lip balm or gloss to look gorgeous.
Do-it-yourself beauty
If you don’t want to invest in skincare products either due to reasons of social distancing or because it seems to be a waste of money at this time, why not use the ingredients in your kitchen, as is the trend now?

BABY ROVER
The Range Rover Evoque has always been one good-looking car. It is compact and sharp, and manages to capture the essence of the big Rangie but in a smaller size. Now, for 2024, there's a bit of a makeover. The usual stuff- a style update and a spruced-up interior. What caught my eye is the new Autobiography trim, taking cues from its inspiration. But the one we're cruising in is the Dynamic SE, which turns things a bit more sporty.
