Mariners fall short in ‘heartbreaker' semifinal

Easton scored the first 7 points and we seemed to be a step behind after that. They played a tight zone and we had trouble shooting over it. Many of the shots were bouncing around the rim and we also committed too many turnovers.

Easton led 13-8 after one quarter and stretched their lead to 29-18 at the half. Coleman Brown had three fouls by the middle of the second quarter. Easton reeled off9 points to go up by 13 before Myles Brown put in a basket to close the quarter, giving him 11 points in the first half.
