DEER ISLE—The boys basketball team beat Bucksport 73-56 on December 19. We led 20-12 after the first quarter and built the lead more after that. Bucksport had a couple players suspended, so they were no match for us.

Coleman Brown led us with 25 points, Myles Brown 21, and Zach Billings 11.

The boys easily beat Islesboro 83-38 on December 21. This was a mismatch and on top of that we shot the ball well. We hit 13 three-pointers, of which Myles Brown had nine. Myles Brown led us with 27 points, Nate Thompson 14, Dillan Steele had nine, and Dylan Thompson had eight,
