2021 World's Fifth Hottest Year As CO2 Hits New High

Last year was the world's fifth hottest on record, EU scientists have found.

Global levels of planet heating CO2 and methane hit record highs while last summer was Europe's hottest on record, a report by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) says.

The last seven years have been the warmest by a “clear margin” in records dating back to 1850.
