- Monarch will decide today on abbey service
- Rare appearance for disgraced Andrew
The Queen is “determined” to make it to the memorial service for her beloved Prince Philip today, but will make a final decision this morning.
Her Majesty, 95 has suffered mobility issues in recent months, with “good days and less good days”, royal sources say.
Palace aides have been working with organizers of the event, due to start at 11.30 am at Westminster Abbey, on how the monarch can comfortably attend.
She is hoping to accompany other members of her family, including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Andrew, following his £12million settlement with his sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre, will appear in public for the first time since his father’s death last April.
Some of the Queen’s older great-grandchildren may also be there.
