Jurgen Klopp has had a pop at the Prime Minister over his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Liverpool boss blamed the huge death toll on Boris Johnson’s response to the crisis.
He added if aliens compared it to Germany’s, “they’d think we came from different planets”.
LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp has criticised Boris Johnson’s handling of the Covid-19 crisis.
The German says the Government’s response to the pandemic is the reason why the UK’s coronavirus death toll is one of the highest in the world.
And he said he had been shocked by the difference in how officials here have handled the virus compared with those in his home country.
He even claimed: “If aliens looked at us both from the outside, they would think we came from two different planets.”
