India will hopefully take an independent decision on 5G for the long-term benefit of the country, irrespective of the country of origin, Huawei India CEO Chen Mingjie has said, adding that the company will continue to comply with all rules and laws.
“We would like to give our commitment to the Indian government that we will continue to fully comply with all rules and regulations of India. In addition, we will also continue to positively cooperate with the government addressing cyber security and working together to improve network security beyond just providing leading technology and solution,” Chen said at the India China Economic Cooperation Forum organised by CII, NITI Aayog, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the International Cooperation Centre.
