FACTRICK

1. THE WHOLE STORY The game is set in an alternate 1955. You can see the full timeline at www.mundfish.com/lore

2. MIX IT UP The game includes over 30 types of melee weapons and firearms to customise through crafting.

3. HELP FROM FRIENDS Mundfish began as a team of just four people. The studio has grown considerably since then.

TRACK RECORD Mundfish is a fairly new studio, having been founded in March 2017. Its first project was Soviet Lunapark VR, though servers for this were shut down in 2019 and the game has also been delisted.

Mundfish is finally pulling back the curtain on its alternate history shooter ahead of a release later this year in the magical month of “*******ber” (that’s a direct quote). In case you’re not familiar with the plot, the alternate timeline of Atomic Heart splits offin the year 1936, placing its present in a USSR that’s got robots, holograms, and even something like the internet.

Not everything’s going swimmingly. Protagonist P-3 ventures into Soviet facility Plant 3826 after a major incident. Robots there have gone wild, making mincemeat of the human staff, and the situation is threatening to spill beyond the bounds of the facility. It’s up to you to investigate what went wrong and stem the flow of classified information leaking out of the plant.
