What diet to follow?
Often, we tend to complicate our health whereas we can gift health to ourselves in very simple ways. The very word 'K.I.S.S'. in the title of this article stands for 'Keep It Simple Sweetheart'.
My mother had breast cancer in 2003. She underwent all the conventional treatment, be it surgery, chemotherapy or radiation. Post that, for some years she was doing good till, in 2013, she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Once again, the surgery and the radiation were done but this time, even post that, she was not recovering. This made me and my sister Megha, search various cities like Rishikesh, Bali and New York for answers from the Western as well as the Eastern world. One common answer we got was 'what we eat is what we become'. As mom started eating healthier foods, she started getting better and today she is able to do two hours of yoga and is on zero allopathic medicines for the past five years. The doctors call this a miracle. I wish to share some simple food guidelines which has helped her so that it can help many more.

Dancer, choreographer and teacher of Bharatanatyam, Smt. Revathi Ramachandran's repertoire has taken her to stages PAN India, Europe and America. She is the only exponent of 'Sudha Nrittam', an ancient temple dance revived by her Guru Mangudi Dorairaja Iyer. She has been the recipient of many awards and accolades including the prestigious Kalaimamani award.Apart from her cultural achievements, this master's degree holder in Economics, has also captained the Tamil Nadu Women's' Basketball team in early 80s.
