Our favourite stars reveal what they love about the festive season

There’s no denying we’re all a lot happier during the festive season, and it seems like our heroines of the small screen are no different.

Daytime TV legend Lorraine Kelly has previously admitted that she is an absolute sucker for Christmas. after another successful year fronting her namesake show, the 57-year-old is gearing up for some quality time with her husband and daughter. But Lorraine isn’t the only ITV daytime lady looking forward to the holidays, with Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid, 46, getting ready to take a break from her presenting duties. She might even enjoy some time away from her co-host Piers Morgan!

Two more of our early-morning saviours are Susanna’s co-hosts and friends Kate Garraway, 50, and Charlotte Hawkins, 42. with two little ones, Kate’s house is sure to be filled with plenty of cheer this Yuletide. and since Charlotte is back from her time on Strictly Come Dancing – after being voted off the show in week four – we bet she’ll be sharing some Strictly wardrobe tips with her fellow presenters on how to sparkle this season…

What is Christmas like for your family? It’s all about family time for me. I have always loved Christmas, and when you have kids the magic is reinvigorated.

Do you have any unmovable traditions? Every Christmas Eve we travel to my in-laws in Lancashire. It’s a long drive, so we always dress up in festive costumes and decorate the car with fairy lights, which is quite a sight on the motorway!
