DIANA CALLED HER ‘THE ROTTWEILER' BUT WHAT WILL HARRY SAY ABOUT HIS STEPMOTHER?

That is the question now hanging in the air after Her Majesty’s surprise decree that Camilla will have the title of Queen Consort when Charles accedes to the throne.

With the recent tensions between the Palace and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the men in grey suits must now be pondering what Harry may have to say on the subject. By the time his eagerly awaited memoir hits the shelves later this year, it will have been exactly 25 years since Princess Diana’s death.

Harry has often raised concerns that his mother’s memory may be airbrushed from history and he knows that, if life had been different, Diana would have been Queen Consort herself one day.

It’s been reported that Diana didn’t just hate Camilla, but blamed her for the collapse of her fairy tale. There were times when, as a child, Harry would have witnessed his mother’s anguish every time ‘that woman’s’ name was mentioned.

Those distressing memories, coupled with the tragedy in Paris, were surely compounded by the way Charles appeared to use his sons after Diana’s death to promote his mistress.
