How are you finding the Strictly process?

It’s been amazing! It’s a golden opportunity. When we went into the studio for the first time, I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is happening! What am I doing?’. I love it, but it’s terrifying.

How far in the competition do you want to go?

My dad said to me the other day, ‘I think we know what we need, what we want – Blackpool would be ideal.’ I was like, ‘What?!’ Honestly, if I can get to week three or four, I’ll be off my face – every week will be a bonus! If I get to Halloween, I’ll be thrilled as I’m a big fan of Halloween Week. But my dad is banging on about Blackpool. I said to him, ‘Graham, have you seen me dance?’

If you got to Movie Week, what would you pick?

Titanic. Me and my partner in a dinghy would be amazing.

Have you had a conversation with your husband Tom Pitford about the Strictly ‘curse’?

Tom’s like, ‘Take her!’ No, the curse is bizarre.
