What's really in HARRY'S NEW BOOK?

Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir threatens to rock the royals to their foundation. The question is, how far will the disgruntled duke dare to twist the knife in the backs of the family he left behind? Those close to the hot-headed prince expect him to expand on the incendiary accusations he and Meghan have made since quitting Britain. As Harry puts the finishing touches on the most-anticipated royal book ever written, here are the key ‘no-go’ areas the family will pray don’t make the final edit.

Diana

Harry is widely expected to slam the way he feels his mother was treated by the ‘institution’. We already understand that he has harboured this anger and bitterness from the day he was forced to walk behind her coffin. Raising this emotive issue could pick at scars the entire family had hoped had healed. Speaking previously about his mother, Harry said, ‘The ripple effect of a culture of exploitation and unethical practices ultimately took her life. To those who have taken some form of accountability, thank you for owning it. That is the first step towards justice and truth.’

Charles

So far, Harry’s truth bombs have largely been aimed at his father by appearing to criticise the way he was raised by Prince Charles, talking of ‘genetic pain and suffering’ and saying he wanted to ‘break the cycle’ for his children. Perhaps, then, it wouldn’t be too huge a leap for the Duke of Sussex to question Charles’ suitability to be king. When the Prince of Wales succeeds the Queen, there will be many who think the institution should die with her. Republicans would welcome support from the one-time third-in-line to the throne at war with her son.
