‘I wouldn't be here without RUTH AND EAMONN'

Since Big Brother 11 winner Josie Gibson charmed the nation in 2010, she’s been a regular face on ITV’s This Morning. Hers is a story similar to that of Alison Hammond who, with Dermot O’Leary, has replaced Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes hosting the Friday shows – something Josie, 36, admits she has conflicted feelings about.

For Josie, work means a lot of juggling, as she’s a single mum to two-year-old son Reggie . And, as the new WW ambassador, after years of yo-yo dieting she’s giving her lifestyle an overhaul in a bid to get fit for the sake of her son.

What are your thoughts on Dermot and Alison replacing Ruth and Eamonn on This Morning?

I couldn’t be happier for Alison, but I am so gutted for Ruth and Eamonn to have lost their Friday slot. They’ve welcomed me into the family at This Morning, and I wouldn’t be where I am without them. They’ve mentored me and helped me so much – I always say they’re like my auntie and uncle of TV, and Alison is like my TV sister.

What’s it like to work on the show?
