Mark Wright has come a long way since his days on TOWIE. He now hosts Take Me Out spin-off show The Gossip, he fronted his own children’s series The Dengineers, models for Umbro and even jets around the world DJing! We caught up with Mark, 30, married to actress Michelle Keegan, 29, to talk anniversaries and moving to America...
Hi Mark! The Gossip is back, what can you tell us about the new series?
It’s drama-packed and it’s now changed quite a lot. We have a new, bigger, more exciting villa and we’ve got tears again from boys and girls. It’s now on Sunday nights, which is great.
Do you predict any marriages?
There’s been seven engagements, five weddings and two babies in the past. I think there’s a good chance we’ll get a wedding out of this one.
Can you tell if it’s going to work out as soon as you meet the contestants?
Yeah, me and Laura [Jackson, Mark’s co-host] turn to each other and go, ‘That’s a love match!’ But then we get the gossip and it does shock you. We’ll go to the clubs and there will be a couple who are really in love and then the next morning he’s switched to someone else! That happens a lot.
Is it going to be naughtier this year?
Yeah, it is a little bit cheekier. There’s a Jacuzzi now but it is a family show so we make sure there are no real rude shenanigans – although we know they would like to a lot of the time! We stop all that and they do what they want when they get home. Then we see them at the reunion and find out if it’s happened or not!
Do you enjoy working with Laura?

'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean. I'd not had a chance to see Winnie when she arrived as she'd been whisked away for tests because she was nearly two months premature.
