She's graced our screens since she was just 12 years old, so it's easy to see why Linda Robson is hailed as something of a national treasure.
However, life hasn't always been plain sailing for the actor, 66, who has bravely battled anxiety and addiction issues in the past. Thankfully, she's been sober since 2020, but in 2023 she faced further heartache when she separated from her husband of 33 years, Mark Dunford.
Since then, the mum of three has been embracing single life, though she tells us she hasn't any desire to date again, admitting 'my children and grandchildren are enough for me'.
Here, the much-loved Loose Women star tells Woman's Own why she's closer to the 'older' panellists on the show, why she'll never give up working and why she'd love to join EastEnders...
How is life at Loose Women?
It's been 25 years since the show aired, and I've been there for 20 of them. There are lots of things coming up, but I can't tell you in case I get into trouble. 'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean. I'd not had a chance to see Winnie when she arrived as she'd been whisked away for tests because she was nearly two months premature.
