He’s spent almost three decades on breakfast TV, and it’s not surprising that even aged 60, presenter Eamonn Holmes’ work schedule is still stacked.
But when the Irishman stepped out for a routine hair appointment recently, he looked a far cry from his usual suave self.
His wife Ruth previously raised her concerns over Eamonn’s workload, confessing that she thinks he pushes himself too far. She said, ‘I worry Eamonn takes a lot on. He’s very responsible for his family, and I think anything, where you are getting up that early and then still working at 9pm, is going to take its toll.’
And in recent weeks, the This Morning host has been warning his ITV colleagues about the tail working on TV can take on their health.
He told Piers Morgan, ‘You should see me as a horrible vision of what will happen to you after too many early starts.’
