Should Wolf-Whistling Be Illegal?

No- ‘It’s nothing to get upset over’

Zoe May, 33, is an author and lives in south London. I see catcalling as a massive compliment and so should every woman. If a man whistles at me as I walk by, I’m not offended, and will often respond with a smile and say, ‘Thanks!’ Why? Because all he’s doing is commenting on my appearance, he’s committed no crime, and sometimes it’s the ego boost I need. If I’ve had a bad day or I’m feeling a bit low about how I look, as I’m sure every woman sometimes does, it makes me feel a million times better about myself.
