Since Saira Khan’s shock exit from Loose Women earlier this year, the question on everyone’s lips was why? After all, it’s a job most people would dream of, so what would cause someone to walk away from a hit show with millions of viewers? The former host has hinted that all might not have been as rosy as it looked from the outside, though. And Woman’s Own can reveal clashes with certain co-stars – including Nadia Sawalha – helped Saira make the decision to leave.
CLASHING PERSONALITIES
There’s no denying that the Loose Women are a fiery bunch, and when you have that many different personalities working together there’s bound to be tension.
And we’re told that – despite getting on when Saira joined the panel in 2015 – Nadia and Saira were far from friends towards the end. ‘Nadia and Saira are like oil and water,’ a well-placed source tells us. ‘It was nothing personal on either side, but as time went on it became clear to them – and everyone else – that they weren’t going to be close.
