‘I want to look as glam as possible’

I’m always searching online and in vintage clothes shops for the perfect Christmas outfit, and by October usually have something hanging up in my wardrobe ready. I’ve worn some beautiful things over the years, including a green, wool top and skirt, and a cream, tailored, vintage dress with tan boots.

I’ll have a manicure in the days before, and always have a hairdresser’s appointment on Christmas Eve for a fancy up do. It does mean I have to be careful how I sleep that night, but it’s worth it to look my best on the big day.
