Dare to go solo!

Summer Wanderlust

So you thought that summer was all about sweat and sunburn, eh ? Well, there’s the upside too, because summer has always been associated with long vacations. Remember the summer holidays in school when trips used to be planned to cooler climes (somehow the native place always seemed to qualify for that category, but that was fun and had its own charm…..)? But a pre-summer madness somehow still seems to set in—there’s a light-headed and reckless feel in the air and an anticipation of running away from the daily grind and chilling out somewhere away from the madding crowd.

Actually, summer is the best time to enjoy a little bit of sun and sweat and get a good tan. And if a report in an esteemed newspaper is to be believed (surely there’s no reason why it shouldn’t), travelling has become an integral part of the lifestyle in the southern subcontinent. What does that add up to? Travelling in summer, of course !
