Wonder Why Weight Creeps Up On You?

In these days of such awareness and wanting to be slim at all times, yet it so happens we gain weight. Suddenly one day our jeans feel tight. You ignore it thinking it might just be water retention. Then a few days later the jeans are too tight and the chino too, then awareness dawns! That can’t be it! You have been busy, in fact very busy! You kept a tab on your food so when did all this happen? Well, there are reasons why you put on weight and why it does so without your knowledge.

Anxiety

Anxiety is one of your biggest tumble-downers! It can turn your world topsy-turvy – so much so, the tab you were keeping may have skipped your mind, to make a mental note that one extra samosa, or that half a glass of carbonated sweet drink, or even salad on a day of self indulgence. It really takes very little to add on those kilos, when we are anxious because we are not nearly aware in those moments, what we are loading on even if we are subconsciously careful, it happens. And that is precisely why the bathroom scale is a vital possession at home, despite all hindrances that will give you an heads-up on – hey you are gaining weight!
