With the pressures of soaring fuel prices and ever-hardening emissions legislation, even the likes of Ferrari haven't managed to evade the powerplant electrification trend that's recently been sweeping the automotive landscape; models such as the 296 GTB, SF90 Stradale and even the fire-breathing LaFerrari have all been recipients of hybrid-assisted engines.

As the seven-year production run of its halo 812 Superfast comes to an end, the Modena supercar maker opted to keep things traditional with its replacement - the 12Cilindri.

NO HYBRID, JUST HORSES

The 12Cilindri name alludes to this model's adoption of the naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 from the outgoing 812 Superfast.
