When this bike launched back in early 2023 at Jerez, all the journos raved about what Triumph had done with the 765 Street Triple. It's no secret that I used to be involved in the development of many of the bikes Triumph produced, but the truth is that I haven't or a few years now, so when I rode the 765 at Cadwell, it was my first time on the newest version of Triumph's sub-litre naked sport bike. Also, it's important to tell you that I have no bias to Triumph when I write or test and I had the same work ethic when I worked there. If another manufacturer has done a better job, then I say so - that's how you achieve a better product. When I did this test, it was down to the best bike to win, not the bike I wanted to win; if that were so, the Ducati would be higher up!
The look of the Street Triple has undergone some subtle changes in the last few years of its evolution and in my opinion remains one of the prettiest and cleanest bikes in our line-up. Everything has its place, and I don't think there are many people out there who could find much to pick at when it comes to the looks of the 765. Like the MV Agusta, the beating heart of the Triumph is a three-cylinder 765cc motor with bags of torque and more than enough horsepower to enjoy blasts out on the road or at trackdays with your mates on 1000cc sportbikes.

Blending decades of motorcycles, racing legends, track time and a beer tent with a cracking band, Suzuki Live’s formula proved a winner for the thousands there. As motorcycling events go, Suzuki Live's 2024 effort is surely set to take some topping. Held over two days at the iconic Cadwell Park circuit, the event played host to a list of two-wheeled legends and a mixed bag of iconic Suzuki machinery spanning five decades.
Steve Parrish
It's been a busy old month but so good being back in the thick of it. Despite the great British weather, it finally feels like summer is here, and I've been all over the place with some really great events since we spoke last month.

It's a long time since I had that feeling... 1057 days, to be precise, and if you were to ask if 'that day' was the day it would happen again, then I would have bet all my worldly belongings against it.

YAMAHA WABASH RT
When you live a life of wheelies, burnouts and fast laps on race tracks, it's hard to spot a midlife crisis... but six months on in the saddle of Yamaha's Wabash e-bike, I daresay that's exactly where I'm at. I'll be honest, cycling isn't for everyone, and quite frankly, Lycra is even more polarising, but for me, life on two wheels, be it powered or pedalled, has formed my staple diet for as long as I can remember.
