Sanjeev Ranjan began his culinary journey in 2004, accumulating two decades of valuable experience. He has worked with Marriott International, The Leela, The Oberoi, and The Lalit, both in India and overseas. Starting as a Chef de Partie at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata, he has steadily progressed to his current position as the Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Chandigarh since March 2023. Sanjeev Ranjan has spent the past eight years serving as an Executive Chef at various luxury properties. His expertise in Food & Beverage operations has played a crucial role in his professional growth. In his current role, he oversees five food and beverage outlets, along with banquet, lounge, and meeting spaces. What do you enjoy most about being the F&B Director?

As the Food & Beverage Director of JW Marriott Chandigarh, I enjoy the opportunity to lead and inspire my team. I take great pleasure in sharing my learnings and skills with them, fostering their growth and development. Together, we aim to curate unforgettable experiences for our guests and build strong relationships with them.

What are your plans in current role?

In my present role, I am whole heartedly devoted to crafting extraordinary concepts and elevating our Food & Beverage menus to unparalleled levels of artistry. Through the introduction of meticulously handcrafted artisanal cocktails and exclusive partnership pop-ups with world-renowned Celebrity Chefs, my aim is to establish JW Marriott Chandigarh as the epitome of culinary innovation and the preferred haven for discerning locals seeking extraordinary gastronomic delights.
