Having spent years interviewing the world's biggest stars, DJing at festivals and hosting the nation's pop music shows, Jo Whiley has cemented her reputation as the coolest woman on the airwaves.
But when HELLO! asks the broadcaster whether her four children would agree with that assessment, she bursts out laughing.
"Absolutely not," she says. "I'm the one who gets ridiculed in the family. I'm the butt of all the jokes. Any time I try to dance or sing, or I say anything, nothing will ever impress them; it will just amuse them.
They take the mickey out of absolutely everything - which is quite right." Joining us for this exclusive interview in our special Ageless Issue, in which we mention nobody's age, Jo tells us about her happy family life, how she keeps fit and healthy in midlife and why age doesn't matter to her.
She also looks back on an extraordinary career spanning more than 30 years, during which time she has interviewed the likes of David Bowie, George Michael, Liam Gallagher, Amy Winehouse and Dolly Parton.
"I love the enormous variety of what I do," she says. "One day, I can be talking to Monty Don about a garden concept and the next, I'll be in front of 2,000 people, all dancing and jumping up and down to the songs I'm playing.
"I get to play brilliant music and make musical discoveries and talk to fascinating people. I'm super, super lucky." Some of her work has even earned her coolmum points with India, Jude, Cassius and Coco, her four children with her husband, music executive Steve Morton.
"There have been various artists I've interviewed, like the Arctic Monkeys," she says.
"And Coco and her mates have been able to come along to festivals with me, which is lovely, because we're all in it together." Among the roster of famous names to whom Jo has chatted, there have been a few highlights - and she admits to getting starstruck on more than one occasion.
