CHARLIZE THERON'S SINGLE DAYS LOOK TO BE OVER AS SHE STEPS OUT IN LOS ANGELES WITH A NEW LOVE

She once described herself as “shockingly available”, but it seems that’s no longer the case for Charlize Theron, with the actress recently debuting her new man. The 47-year-old was spotted on the arm of model Alex Dimitrijevic, 46, on May 14, heading out on a lunch date in the Los Feliz neighbourhood of Los Angeles. “Charlize and Alex have been dating for a few months now,” a source told Us Weekly of the new couple.

Clutching hands and sharing knowing smiles, the pair were seen casually walking down the street, clearly unconcerned about being seen together. While the romance is said to be “still in the early stages”, the Oscar winner and Dimitrijevic – who is also a brand and apparel design and development worker – reportedly “really like each other”. “He’s a very laid-back guy and Charlize likes that,” the insider added.

The new romance has been a long time coming for the star. Despite a brief dalliance with model Gabriel Aubry last year, Theron has been single since splitting with actor Sean Penn in 2015 (see breakout). “It is strange for people to, kind of, wrap their heads around it,” the actress said during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020 of her single status. “I’ve been on a few dates but I haven’t dated anybody for over five years.”
