When Tish Cyrus relayed the story of meeting her husband, Prison Break star Dominic Purcell, on a recent episode of the podcast Call Her Daddy, she giggled as she revealed that it all started with an Instagram DM.

Tish, 56, explained that in the wake of her 2022 divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus, she’d reached out to her “hall pass” Purcell, 54, and within seconds he’d responded, admitting he had a longtime “crush” on the Cyrus matriarch. By November 2022 they were Instagram official, and in August 2023 they tied the knot in Malibu, with Tish’s daughters Miley, 31, and Brandi, 36, and son Trace, 35, by her side. But according to a source, Tish’s meet-cute tale was missing a key detail: that Purcell had been spending time with her daughter Noah, 24, before he and Tish became an item.
