JIMMY’S TASTE OF FLORIDA
MONDAY-FRIDAY, 2PM, ITV1 TRAVELOGUE
JIMMY DOHERTY on exploring the culinary delights of America's Sunshine State Jimmy Doherty had a mission in mind when he jetted off to Florida for a new ITV1 travelogue – and, no, it didn’t involve meeting Mickey Mouse!
‘Florida has a great food story to tell,’ says the popular presenter and farmer. ‘When people go there, they tend to go to the beach and theme parks but I wanted to really lift the lid on the food culture and the people behind it.’
The five-part series, Jimmy’s Taste of Florida, sees him eat and cook his way around the Sunshine State’s culinary hotspots.
‘Viewers can expect the unexpected,’ smiles Jimmy, 48. Here, he reveals more about Floridian cuisine…
Can you sum up the series in three words?
