He's just turned 50 and it seems Leonardo DiCaprio may finally be ready to settle down

HE'S THE perpetual Hollywood bachelor, flitting from one relationship to the next, each gorgeous girlfriend as young or younger than the one before. But as Leonardo DiCaprio celebrates turning 50 could there be signs he's slowing down and finally giving up on looking out for the next hot young thing? There are tentative signs.

Leo has been with model Vittoria Ceretti for more than one whole year - practically an aeon in his ooh-there's-another-shiny-thing world.

The Italian model has also broken Leo's Law and survived his date-no-one-over-25 rule - she turned the ripe old age of 26 in June.

Still, no one's really counting any chickens. This is Leo and Leo, as anyone who has even the vaguest knowledge of him will know, does things his way.

His penchant for dating women - usually impossibly perfect models - half his age has been criticised for years.

Pictures of him looking paunchy and dishevelled on beaches with bikini-clad beauties have been picked over and torn apart.

He should grow up already and pick someone his own age, critics cried.

But Leo is the quintessential Peter Pan. This is his life and it's working for him, naysayers be damned.

"Leo's refusal to settle down is very much intentional," an insider says.

"His first love is acting and he doesn't want anything getting in the way of that commitment.
