INDIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP MEETS ITALIAN ELEGANCE

The fashion world is abuzz with the latest collaboration that seamlessly blends Indian artistry with Italian luxury: Rahul Mishra x Tod's. Mishra's journey with the brand began in 2017, following a transformative trip to Italy after they first reached out to him as a part of their creative laboratory project, Tod's Factory.

With a century-old legacy in Italian craftsmanship, Tod's is one of the largest quiet luxury brands in the world. But what is the Tod's Factory? Mr. Carlo Alberto Beretta (General Manager, Tod's) says, "This is a creative laboratory where established and emerging designers are invited to offer their point of view on Tod's iconic heritage. It allows them unique access to our craftsmen and the savoir faire in the Marche region of Italy, creating a range of capsule collections and limited-edition pieces within the season." So, after a pandemic delay and a complex design process, the seeds that were planted years ago have finally come to fruition in the form of a stunning fusion collection.

We catch up with Mishra as he helps us uncover the story that lies behind each piece.

"Meeting Mr. Diego Della Valle (Chairman, Tod's) and witnessing the exceptional craftsmanship at Tod's was an eye-opener," Mishra recalls. "Their attention to detail and commitment to quality resonated with me.
