Having been in service for two decades, how is Emirates' A380 business class service faring in 2025? Where it lacks the industry-obsessed suite doors, it makes up for it with features one really cannot complain about, such as complimentary chauffeur service, a (still) jaw-dropping onboard bar experience, and exceptional service from one of the best crews in the world.

Before Emirates received its first Airbus A380 in 2008, its business class was quite different from what we see today. You might land a lie-flat seat - if luck is on your side. Configurations were typically in a 2-2-2 layout, which meant no chance of a studio-like space with direct aisle access for all seats, as much as it is an industry norm today. So when the Middle-Eastern airline promised both these features on all its business class seats on the A380, plus an onboard bar with social areas and chauffeur services included in the ticket price, it quickly earned praise for being both exceptional and generous. But as its flagship business class cabin turns 20 this year, is it still living up to expectations?
