It is said that the best way to learn humility is by realizing that we are an insignificant speck in the universe consisting of so many planets, moons, stars and suns. Great thinkers imbibed this . For example, the formidable British scientist, Stephen Hawking, asked us to look at the sky and stars and wonder what force sustains these in a disciplined cohesion and this is the truth our Vedas and Upanishads teach us.
The concept of ‘simple living, high thinking’ is something that every person should adopt. This concept is also called minimalism. Your lifestyle will be totally different if you own just the essentials. Everything beyond the essentials are luxuries that we don’t actually need. There are very few with such an established lifestyle to achieve simple living and high thinking.
