Let us talk about what we think. The idea is that we supply our mind with some worthwhile thoughts and apply them. We don't know how much of that is happening. Listening is one thing. It is good we are listeners. But as we step out from a place like The Yoga Institute, is there any further justice done to the ideas? If we listen to a very funny story, then it is likely that when we go out, we keep on talking about it. But if it is serious matters related to philosophy or life, then the sooner we are forgetting them, the better we think.
In case of yoga, this philosophical thinking has to be strengthened continuously. It doesn't otherwise catch root. There are other competing interests and one easily goes over to them. If an individual has come here with the intention to change his or her life, or to learn some good ideas, then there are chances that some ideas are caught and they are practiced. Then it has been worthwhile thinking.
These ideas that we are discussing are related to life and living and our overall attitude towards it. It is not just a matter of something exciting, something humorous. Maybe a little of that can be there. But fundamentally, the interest has to be there that I want to benefit, that I want to integrate something in my life, and I really want to change. If this kind of thinking is very strong, then even ordinary thoughts can be easily caught and applied.
