While Prince Andrew privately battles his brother King Charles over living in Royal Lodge, his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, is refusing to let their sibling squabbles get in the way of her fabulous new lease on life.

Sources close to the Duchess of York reveal the 63-year-old is “quietly but quickly” working to relaunch her media career, ensuring that she is independent and no longer reliant on the royal family. 

Following a series of public appearances earlier this year to promote her latest novel, Fergie last week announced her latest venture; co-hosting a podcast called Tea Talks. It’s believed this is the first step of her reinvention plans.

“With the coronation out of the way, Sarah is focusing on herself. She’s proven she can make her own living and is a media powerhouse,” tells an insider. They add that Fergie is ready to “get back into dating” and is even open to being set up!

“She has paid her dues and played by the rules in recent years. Now, it’s all about her own needs. If that means a new man – so be it!” continues the source with a laugh.
