Gwyneth Paltrow has landed herself in deep Goop – and getting out of the sticky situation might cost her a pretty penny.

The 50-year-old actress fronted Park City District Court last week, after being sued over a 2016 “hit and run”skiing incident on the slopes at Utah’s Deer Valley Resort. According to the lawsuit, Gwyn was “reckless” and crashed into retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, the plaintiff, before speeding off.

Sanderson claims he suffered a concussion at the scene, as well as broken ribs and ongoing traumatic brain injuries. He is seeking US$300,000 in damages after a judge nixed his first request of US$3.1 million.
