WE HEAD OUT ON THE MAIDENVOYAGE OF ROYAL CARIBBEAN'SUTOPIA OF THE SEAS

Royal Caribbean's latest offering is the Utopia of the Seas – and I am among the first in the world to get on board! My trip begins with a two-night pre-cruise stay in the luxurious Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando (sign me up for all those rides!), before we are transported to the ship for a three-night getaway, sailing between Port Canaveral and Royal Caribbean's private island in The Bahamas, CocoCay.

This huge cruise ship boasts two casinos, countless restaurants and bars, a wellness centre, park, and more pools than the days on board. There's something for everyone, meaning you can tailor your holiday to tick all your boxes.

I leave all my stress at the door as soon as I step on board. Enjoying a welcome drink on arrival, I make my way to my spacious balcony stateroom. After settling in, I head to the Aqua Theatre to witness a spectacular performance by Olympic divers and the ship's ‘Godmother’ – singing sensation Meghan Trainor. What a way to start the first day!
