TV STAR FACES A CONCERNING THREAT

Just a fortnight has passed since Larry Emdur celebrated being crowned the most popular personality on Australian television. And despite the undeniable high Larry, 59, has enjoyed since winning the TV Week Gold Logie, he’s also had a sobering return to Earth following an alleged stalking scare.

“This couldn’t have come at a worse time,” one showbiz insider tells New Idea. “Right when Larry should be basking in the glory of this moment, instead, he’s dealing with this issue.”

On August 22, NSW Police issued an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) to protect The Morning Show co-host after a man allegedly walked into Channel Seven’s Sydney headquarters and entered a lift in the building, without any security clearance.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, the Victorian man demanded to see Larry when he was approached. He was subsequently removed from the building by Channel Seven security staff.
