A NASTY INFECTION SAW THE POPULAR STAR RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

Miriam Margolyes might be down, but she’s certainly not out!

The 82-year-old British actress was rushed to a London hospital earlier this month, but she has since assured fans she is on the mend.

Taking to social media as she recuperated in her hospital bed, Miriam explained she had been admitted to the Royal Brompton Hospital after a nasty chest infection sent her to the accident and emergency department.

The actress’ initial posts expressed hopes of a speedy recovery and release, but a few days later, she confirmed she was still awaiting to be discharged.

“I am growing energy but it’s still not quite me,” Miriam wrote. “Can’t come home yet. I have a chest infection. Probably tomorrow but at least I’m resting.”
