After surviving a horrific ski accident in 2013, Formula One fans have been desperate to find out just what happened to Michael Schumacher. While his exact condition remains a closely guarded secret, it’s hard to comprehend there has not been a single sighting of Michael, who turned 54 last week, since the day he hit his head on a rock while skiing in the French Alps.

But a recent family photo posted on Instagram by Michael’s 23-year-old son Mick, himself a Formula One driver, has sparked plenty of fresh interest from fans.

On Christmas Day, Mick posted the most beautiful message, sharing a photo of he and his older sister, GinaMaria, with their mum, Corinna, at the Schumacher estate in Switzerland.
