Apprx 30% travellers this year have opted for pre-Diwali travel; countries from where Northern Lights can be viewed considered as new favourites

With the Diwali holiday season fast approaching, many Ahmedabad residents are choosing to travel internationally before the festival to avoid the rush and secure better deals.
According to officials from the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Gujarat chapter, approximately 30 per cent of local travellers have opted for pre-Diwali travel this year. This strategy allows them to avoid the peak season crowds and enjoy significant savings of around 30-40 per cent on their overall travel expenses.
"Pre-Diwali travel demand has increased by 30 per cent this year compared to last year," said Prashant Madlani, chairman of TAAI Gujarat. "Popular destinations include Dubai, the UAE, Bali, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, with trips typically lasting five to six nights and costing around Rs 1-1.25 lakh per person," he added.
