Shane Roller, 33, his partner Shannen Morgan, 30, plus their daughters Rubie, nine, and Lillie Morgan-Roller, four, were killed near Wakefield, West Yorks.

But daughter Poppie opted out of the family trip for a walk, asking her mum if she could play at a friend's.

Police said their Ford Focus collided with an unnamed motorcyclist and pillion passenger on the A61.

Shane's brother Callum last night claimed the bike was "on the wrong side" of the road. He added online: "I'm absolutely heartbroken. I'm gonna miss all of you! It's absolutely broken my heart and it's absolutely broken both sides of the family!

Popular "You all had heart of gold... gonna miss you all like crazy! We are all in absolute shock!" One friend, Jamie Phillips, 31, said the family lived nearby and the community was devastated because parttime takeaway delivery driver Shane was popular in the area.
