'I feel I'm having one of the greatest decades of my life'

DAVINA McCall is relishing fulfilling lifelong her 50s career ambitions, scooping an MBE and finding happiness with partner Michael Douglas.

"I feel like I'm having one of the greatest decades of my life," she told me. "It's so fun." As she received a Special Recognition Award at the NTAs last week Davina, 57, told Michael, 49: "You make me a better person and you make me so happy."

They had been pals since hair stylist Michael worked on Big Brother, which she hosted from 2000 to 2010. Davina also told of her joy that her career is going from strength to strength.

She said: "I felt I might be retired by the public by the time I was 50.
