MATTHIJS DE LIGT claims getting the Manchester United players "on the same page" will be Ruben Amorim's biggest challenge at Old Trafford.
Amorim jetted in from Portugal yesterday to take over at United and he inherits a team languishing in 13th place in the Premier League.
They have also won just once in Europe in the last 13 months and Amorim (left) faces a huge task to turn it all around.
Sacked boss Erik ten Hag spent half a billion pounds on players and De Ligt, who cost £38.5million from Bayern Munich in the summer, says Amorim must get everyone working together.
"That's going to be the biggest challenge for the trainers, to get everyone on the same wavelength and same page to improve as a team and improve as players," De Ligt said.
Amorim hinted after his final Sporting Lisbon game, a 4-2 win over his old club Braga on Sunday, that he will use his favoured 3-4-3 formation at United.
